Winklevoss
The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, are Internet entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. They have been heavily involved in the most prominent Internet ventures of the past 10 years, having won a lawsuit against Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg and made early investments in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Their legal battle became the subject of the Oscar-winning movie “Social Network” directed by David Fincher.
Zuckerberg settled with the Winklevii for $65 mln in 2008. Since the twins took this money in a mixture of cash and stock, they were able to turn it into nearly $500 mln dollars.
After unsuccessfully trying to invest in Silicon Valley, they decided to put their money into Bitcoin after a trip to Ibiza. This bet turned them into billionaires.
