US Federal Agency Awards Blockchain Research Project With $818K

The National Science Foundation (NSF), an independent US government agency, has allocated more than $818,000 in order to fund a Blockchain-powered project that will increase the efficiency of scientific data management. 

The project aims to form a brand-new ecosystem for scientists to exchange the data about their recent experiments and update it in real time. It makes sure that researches are dealing only with legit information by implementing a system of verification. 

Notably, this is not the first time when the NFS, which is known for supporting ‘high-risk, high-reward’ projects, is laying eyes on the Blockchain
