United Kingdom Launches Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Inquiry

The United Kingdom’s Treasury Committee will be launching a new inquiry into Blockchain technologies and digital currencies. The members of parliament belonging to the committee plan to focus on the opportunities and risks that cryptocurrency presents for businesses, consumers and the government. The move comes after more UK citizens become aware of cryptocurrency but remain unaware that cryptocurrency is unregulated.
