Cryptocurrency project Bluehelix (BHEX) attracted $15 mln in investments from Huobi Global, Node Capital, Genesis Capital, OKCoin, City Holdings, and others. Interest in participating in the investment round was expressed by over 70 cryptocurrency companies, of which about 40 were chosen.

BHEX will provide trading, custodial, and clearing services with cryptocurrency assets. According to its founders, the platform is based on an "innovative blockchain solution" with open source code using decentralized crypto algorithms. The Bluehelix team has already patented this technology.

Bluehelix intends to be a fully community-managed decentralized platform. Bluehelix changed the current trading service from centralized to decentralized exchanges. BHEX managed to provide cryptocurrency, storage service, and clearing using blockchain. The company intends to unify the fintech ecosystem to provide customers with fully decentralized crypto asset circulation, storage, and clearing. Bluehelix has also developed the open product on SaaS platform. It was named BHOP.

The list of BHEX founders includes former Huobi exchange CTO James Ju. According to him, the founders of Bluehelix come from world leading fintech companies. This diversified global team will help BHEX become an important industry global player in the nearest future.

The launching of BHEX is scheduled for November 2018. After its development and launch, the Bluehelix project will become open source with support for decentralized crypto algorithms, noted James Ju.

Bluehelix creator James Ju is among the top most successful digital industry managers. Prior to working with BHEX, he worked at X Financial and Huobi.

Huobi Global is China-based exchange with agencies in South East Asia and US. After Bitcoin was banned in 2017 by China, Huobi cancelled withdrawals. In November, the exchange announced the service for crypto derivatives is in beta version. The new service offers opening short and long positions for digital assets. Weekly, two-week, and quarterly contracts are available.
