A new mobile app, CryptoMaps, that shows users where to find crypto-friendly merchants in their area, was launched on the Apple App Store Thursday.
Users can find everything from ATMs, bars, brick-and-mortar stores, event, venues and other information in just a few taps, the company says.
"As a cryptocurrency investor, I knew firsthand how difficult it was to discover businesses which accepted alternate forms of payment," said Craig Cole, chief executive officer and founder of CryptoMaps.
The app can be downloaded on to user’s phones uses an interactive map to find local stores and businesses that accept virtual cash as a form of payment. CryptoMaps also allows users to filter businesses by the type of currency and services offered.
