CBOE, one of the leading Chicago-based exchange groups, will launch Ethereum futures this year, according to a recent Business Insider report that cites anonymous sources.
Experts predict that CBOE Ethereum futures could be a stepping stone for other cryptocurrencies and potentially lead to an ETF. SFOX’s Danny Kim believes that it will definitely trigger another bull run. The news alone pushed Ethereum price by 3.5 percent.
It is worth mentioning that CBOE was behind launching the first Bitcoin futures back in December 2017, which made Bitcoin price immediately surge by $1,000. Will Ether follow suit?
