Russian Nuclear Scientists Arrested For Mining Bitcoin

Several scientists at The Federal Nuclear Center in Sarov, Russia have been arrested for attempting to mine cryptocurrency. The scientists attempted to use the facilities supercomputer that is capable of doing 1,000 tln calculations per second to mine Bitcoin. The supercomputer is not supposed to be connected to the Internet, so when scientists attempted to connect to the Bitcoin network, security was alerted and the individuals were handed over to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB).
