Ukraine’s Cyber-Police Nail Crypto Exchange Hacker

The malware created by a 23-year-old Ukrainian resident allows him to access user accounts on crypto exchanges and leave them empty of funds.

The law enforcement agents caught the young criminal in a provincial city in Eastern Ukraine. All his equipment was confiscated.

A pre-trial case has been initiated. The experts will estimate the number of the hacker’s victims. The man may be sentenced to six years in prison or three years of community work.
