Crypto fans can now spend their Dash coins at more than 40 online and offline shops – Dash has struck a partnership with the Spend App and is now available on VISA crypto ATM cards.

How the Dash cards work

With VISA cards, through three new features, users can spend $500, $5,000 or $10,000 per day, including technical support, various types of rewards, etc. The last two features provide access to the Spend VIP mode.

Upon verification, customers receive a card by mail. These cards need to be linked to their app that contains Dash and other crypto. Through Spend wallets, which support more than 16 coins, users can exchange their crypto into fiat money: EUR, CAD, USD.

Crypto ATM cards become popular – slowly but surely

Crypto ATM cards have had a hard time acquiring mass adoption. Some of those that no longer exist previously offered the use of Dash.

Among those which are successfully functioning today are Paycent and FuzeX cards. Those work at merchants which accept crypto coins directly, without making people convert their fiat cash to them first. They can also be used at merchants with standard POS gadgets.

Creating such an ATM card is difficult because of banking regulations made specifically for them. Besides, the costs for physical cards are high, and they also have high fees for membership and limits on spending funds.

Direct acceptance of crypto helps mass adoption

The only way to let these cards be used and widely adopted is for merchants to accept crypto directly. It takes longer and happens slowly, but it opens large prospects for the wide adoption of this payment technology.

Tron on Spend App

Recently, it has been reported that TRX is available on Spend App too.
