The controversial Venezuelan cryptocurrency “Petro” was officially launched on Tuesday. In a last minute change, the token was released as an asset on NEM’s Blockchain rather than on Ethereum’s Blockchain. 82.4 mln Petro are going to be available initially and the total supply is capped at 100 mln Petro.
