As part of a new edition of ICT Spring (September 14th and 15th), the renowned global tech conference organized since 2010, Mastermind Summit & Competition will take place on September 15th at the European Conference Center Luxembourg. This event - dedicated to the startup ecosystem - aims to promote and spread best practices, foster emulation between entrepreneurs and VCs and offer recognition to the best international startups of the ecosystem. Mastermind is composed of a 1-day conference and a startup competition where three key categories will be represented: FinTech, DeepTech and NewSpace.
Mastermind Summit
Supported by, and built-in collaboration with the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy as well as the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the Mastermind Summit programme will notably highlight the international startup ecosystem trends. The conferences will give participants the opportunity to deep dive into the startups ecosystem and get specific information around International and European acceleration programs as well as incentives from the Greater Region. VCs will also take part in the programme and will notably share insights on the trends they are following, how to build a unicorn and what they are expecting when looking for targeted startups.
The organisers already unveiled the fact that representatives from Expon Capital, Luxinnovation, NRW Bank, Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, Findec, MENA Fintech Association, E2MC, European Space Agency, Orbital Venture will attend the event and will present their acceleration programmes.
Also, a startups village will be set up physically in the heart of the summit where participants will be able to discover the latest innovations of each sector.

Mastermind Competition
On top of attending a 1-day conference, startups have the opportunity to apply for free to the Mastermind Competition that aims to reward the brightest startups from all around the world.
For its inaugural competition, three categories are open to application: Deeptech, Fintech and NewSpace. Startups participating in the competition will meet with outstanding organisations as well as VCs & investors. The 7 best and most innovative startups of each category will be selected to pitch their projects in front of a jury composed of industry experts, VCs and business angels during the Mastermind Summit. One start-up will be crowned per category.
It represents a unique opportunity for startups to meet all the ecosystems in one single place as well as be recognised for its outstanding value proposition. All applicants will receive their free access to attend the Mastermind Summit and the side events organised in the frame of ICT Spring.
