Recently, Chinese authorities have initiated the closure of numerous DLT news channels on the social app WeChat.

Chinese IT regulators have closed down WeChat accounts of at least eight companies focused on electronic assets, which have collected several billion dollars of investments due to them allegedly publishing data on ICOs and speculating on crypto trading.

Besides, Chinese authorities have forbidden hotels, shopping centers and office buildings in a high-end central area of Beijing to host events that promote virtual coins.
