Blockchain platform Ripple has published a Q3 Market Report on XRP. The document shows that in Q3 sales amounted to $163.33 mln in XRP compared to the previous quarter when the revenue was $75.53 mln.

The majority of the profit was generated from direct sales to financial institutions. However, in Q1 Ripple sold XRP for $167.7 mln and it has not overcome that result yet.

Last quarter Ripple also released 3 mln XRP from the frozen accounts. Part of those coins is being used to support the platform.
