A few days ago Stellar published an official schedule for migrating to the new Stellar Core protocol 10.0.0. This is expected to change the XLM system cardinally.

The new software will include the long-awaited BumpSequence functionality.

In its Twitter, the startup has publicized the times and guidelines for migration to the new network. Core Version 10.0.0 is presently in the testing mode.

The migration is planned for the start of autumn 2018. Apparently, it may take the XLM team up to two months to complete it.
