Jimmy Song

Jimmy Song is a Texas-based Bitcoin developer and educator who also penned the “Programming Bitcoin” book, a powerful guide for Python programmers who want to delve into crypto.
The Bitcoin maximalist was born in South Korea. He moved to the U.S. when he was seven. His penchant for math made Song pursue his dream to become a software programmer.
Song discovered Bitcoin in 2011 and wanted to improve its ecosystem.
He has worked for several crypto companies, including stablecoin issuer Paxos.
Back in 2018, Song became a venture partner at Blockchain Capital. He also made an investment in Middle Eastern cryptocurrency exchange Rain.
