John McAfee has spread the word in Twitter that he is in search of a ghostwriter for his autobiography. The previous contractor did not live up to the “crypto baron's”’ expectations and was fired.

Sex, drugs and anti-virus

  • In his teenage years, McAfee, like, reportedly, Steve Jobs and other famous people in their young years, used a lot of LSD. However, one day he got hold of a bag of a psychedelic drug DMT. After sniffing just one line, McAfee felt nothing, so he decided, what the hell, and did the whole bag in one go. Afterwards the reality exploded and, according to some sources, the man still believes that the world around him is a massive hallucination.
  • When the 80s came, McAfee went to work at Lockheed. Back then, computers were new and Jobs with Gates were young hippies inventing future world-changing stuff in their garages. McAfee decided to set up his own business and called the company with the title that pleased his ear best – McAfee Associates. Some of the largest businesses back then were using McAfee-made antivirus.
  • In 1994, McAfee resigned on his own will and got rid of his shares for $100 mln.

Prison, blockchain and crypto

In 2012 McAfee was arrested in Guatemala on ‘semi-false charges’ and spend a short while in prison, quite possibly hiding a gold watch of his dead mate. After the release he drew a lot of attention of the media and since then he became a constant supporter of Blockchain, Bitcoin and all crypto industry, including ICOs.

During one period he was promoting ICOs and crypto coins in his Twitter account, having created the so called ‘McAfee impact’, which means that if he said that such-and-such coin is promising and would go up in price, his followers started buying it and it would spike indeed.

At the start of 2018, the man claimed that Bitcoin would be worth $1 mln in several years otherwise he would eat his penis. Since then, as the meme goes, a lot of hoddlers began to think of McAfee’s manhood more often than of their own.

SEC ban, assassins, celebrities

McAfee ‘went to war’ with the US Security and Exchange Commission until the regulator prohibited him to conduct ICO promotions. The man claimed there were several attempts to assassinate him.

The man is on friendly terms with many crypto world celebrities, such as Roger Ver and Jihan Wu.

He truly believes in Blockchain, saying that this technology is the ‘record of truth’ and that it is going to dominate the world in most spheres in the future.

If anyone wishes to become McAfee’s ghostwriter, though, do not hurry to leave your day job. You may well be kicked out very soon, as the previous contractor was.
