The donations have helped to accelerate financial inclusion via various pilots with GOS and different startups.
Ripple says that it has supported blockchain and crypto research at more than 60 universities across the globe. The company has funded a total of 183 scholarships and fellowships.

Last year, Ripple's long-standing University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) welcomed several new universities in such countries as Taiwan, Germany, and South Korea.
