After its explosive August breakout, XRP is still in a much stronger technical position, but the market is currently assessing whether that move can turn into a long-term trend. After briefly rising to about $1.70 during the initial surge, XRP is currently trading at about $1.42. The break above the long-term moving average of $1.35 for XRP is the most significant development.

XRP slows down

For the majority of 2026, this level served as dynamic resistance, so its recovery was structurally significant. Since then, XRP has retreated toward the moving average without falling below it. As a result, the $1.35 region is the line that immediately separates continuation from a deeper correction.

By holding it, XRP would be able to preserve the breakout structure and solidify its approximately 40% gain from the $1.00 area. The next support cluster, which is located between $1.20 and $1.23 below that, is followed by the shorter moving average, which is located around $1.13.

The momentum is still high. The RSI recently moved well into overbought territory, and it is currently at about 72. An overbought RSI does not necessarily indicate a reversal, but it does raise the likelihood of consolidation, especially following such a vertical advance.

The first resistance range for bulls is between $1.50 and $1.55. The $1.70 spike high may reappear if the daily close is above it. Until then, XRP's primary goal is to demonstrate that $1.35 can serve as support rather than to prolong the rally.

BNB on the rise

Binance Coin has delivered one of its strongest technical moves in months, surging from around $600 to above $700 and breaking through several important moving averages in the process. Right now, BNB is trading close to $706. Around $647, the long-term moving average was decisively cleared by the rally, turning a level that had limited the price into the most significant nearby support.

Short-term conditions are stretched, though. After a nearly vertical rise, the RSI is now at about 80, well inside overbought territory. Additionally, BNB has begun to produce smaller candles between $700 and $720, indicating that supply is starting to meet aggressive buying pressure.

The breakout remains valid despite the ensuing consolidation. BNB is still above all four of the displayed moving averages, with $643, $617, and $603 serving as shorter-term support. Compared to the structure observed earlier in August, this is a significant improvement. The immediate resistance is located between $720 and $730.

BNB might be able to target the $760–$800 range if it were to break that range with increased volume, leaving comparatively little recent price structure immediately overhead. In the event of a rejection, $680 would be the first target, followed by the much more significant $640–$650 breakout zone.

The current setup would be significantly weakened if that area were lost. BNB still has a bullish structure for the time being, but consolidation or a technical retest following the quick move above $700 would be typical rather than proof that the rally has already failed.

Hyperliquid breaks the stalemate

Hyperliquid continues to display one of the strongest technical structures among major altcoins, with HYPE trading around $82.60 after decisively breaking through its previous resistance zone. The most recent increase started at $55–$57 and quickly reached $60 and the prior highs at $75.

Since then, HYPE has established itself above $80; recent candles have reached roughly $84. As a result, the asset is now in price discovery territory with little historical resistance right above. The moving-average structure strongly favors buyers. The intermediate averages are between $60 and $62, while HYPE is trading well above the short-term average at about $68.

At roughly $53.55, the long-term moving average is still significantly lower. More significantly, the larger bullish structure is being supported by all major averages, which are either rising or starting to turn higher. However, momentum is now stretched. The RSI is above the traditional overbought threshold, at about 77.

Rather than continuing to rise vertically, HYPE has already begun to consolidate between about $79 and $84. A clean break above $84–$85 is the immediate bullish goal. $90 is the next obvious psychological target if it is reached. The first support zone on the downside is between $78 and $80.

HYPE might move toward $70–$68 with a deeper correction, but the larger uptrend might not be destroyed. Buyers are still in control for the time being, but there is considerably more risk involved in chasing an already prolonged move than there was during the initial $60 breakout.

Dogecoin is back

Although Dogecoin has recovered significantly from its August lows, the rally has run straight into its most significant long-term technical barrier. After momentarily approaching $0.10, DOGE is currently trading around $0.0877. The meme coin quickly rose above its shorter moving averages after the move began around $0.07.

But the long-term moving average at $0.095 is still in place as resistance. Because DOGE has been trading below this trend indicator for months, this rejection is significant. Therefore, a sustained move above roughly $0.095–$0.10 would indicate a much stronger reversal signal than the current rebound on its own.

Shorter-term conditions have significantly improved. At $0.081, $0.079, and $0.074, DOGE is still above the moving averages. Beneath the market, these levels now form a multi-layered support structure.

After briefly entering highly overbought territory, the RSI has cooled to about 67. Although momentum is still higher than it was during the previous consolidation, this lessens the immediate overheating.

The next action is largely dependent on $0.095. Before revealing the May resistance zone around $0.11–$0.115, a successful breakout could reopen $0.10. DOGE would be open to another test of $0.081–$0.079 if $0.095 could not be recovered.

In contrast to HYPE, DOGE's recovery is still technically sound, but it has not yet broken through the long-term resistance required to validate a more significant trend reversal.
