João Garcia

João Garcia is a Developer Advocate at Cartesi, an app-specific rollup protocol with a virtual machine that runs Linux distributions. 

João Garcia is a passionate software developer. With a solid foundation from both his bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems his journey includes a significant milestone at the Apple Developer Academy, where he started experimenting with IoT and social network solutions.

João joined startups and later worked with high performance computing and as a consultant in the energy sector. He is pursuing his master's degree and is currently the lead for the Cartesi DevAd team. As a developer he is inspired by emerging solutions and the exciting opportunity to be a part of the significant transformations within this new field.
