David Schwartz, Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer and better known in the crypto space as “JoelKatz,” may once again have sparked speculation among XRP holders — this time with a photo of a slot machine and a one-word caption.

On June 1, Schwartz posted a photo showing a $1,458.30 win on a casino slot machine and wrote, "Jackpot!" The machine also displayed a potential prize of $11,106.78, which some interpreted as a signal, especially given Schwartz’s history of cryptic tweets and riddles.

The XRP community wasted no time jumping into decoding mode. One user replied, "Congrats, David, but oh no... a week of riddles incoming," to which Schwartz responded with a humorous meme playfully apologizing.

Others pointed directly to the $11,106.78 figure. One post read, "$11,106.78 XRP confirmed," suggesting that the number could reference an XRP price prediction or a future event.

The reactions were not all theories, though. Another follower commented, "David can literally post a photo of his dog, and people will look for clues," highlighting the intensity with which the XRP community analyzes Schwartz's social media presence.

Despite the tweet's lack of direct mention of Ripple, XRP or any market developments, it quickly gained traction, racking up hundreds of thousands of views. The timing and tone were enough to send some people in the community into familiar speculation — where even normal updates or casual photos can start conversations.

Whether it was meant as a tease or just a lighthearted moment, the post once again shows how closely people online watch Ripple's leadership.
