TALLINN, Estonia  — PARSIQ, a leading blockchain infrastructure provider, is pleased to announce the launch of its Reactive Network Hackathon. The initiative aims to spur the next era of blockchain innovation by utilizing Reactive Smart Contracts (RSCs) and will run for eight weeks starting Sept. 9.

The Reactive Network Hackathon welcomes participation from developers around the world and is free to enter. Contestants will be tasked with exploring new use cases and creating reusable code templates by leveraging RSCs — an invention that allows developers to build dynamic applications that can autonomously respond to real-time events rather than relying solely on user-initiated actions. In addition, the hackathon emphasizes user experience in decentralized applications, and participants can compete in multiple tracks, such as an Open Category for unique ideas, a Magic Approve service application track and a Template Deployer application track.

The virtual, community-centric event brings together talented developers and enthusiasts to innovate and make a difference with their skills. Selected developers have a chance to win a share of the $50,000 prize pool, which consists of $15,000 in immediate cash rewards paid out in PARSIQ (PRQ) tokens and $35,000 in grants to support the further development of outstanding projects.

“Our goal is to challenge developers to explore new frontiers in blockchain technology using Reactive Smart Contracts,” said Daniil Romazanov, chief technology officer of PARSIQ. “This hackathon is not just about winning prizes. It’s about contributing to a transformative technology that can redefine how we interact with blockchain ecosystems.”

The Reactive Network Hackathon is a collaborative effort with other industry leaders and organizations, including multichain decentralized digital assets exchange (DEX) Pangolin, Web3 interoperability platform Axelar, blockchain and cryptocurrency encyclopedia IQ.wiki, Frax Finance, Burve Protocol, Intract, Manta Network and more. The collaboration underscores the growing importance of technological innovations within the Web3 industry.

It follows the success of the Reactive Developers Bounty Program, which successfully concluded last month, and highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to driving continuous advancements in the space and delivering an exceptional user experience.

“The Reactive Hackathon is a pivotal event for us, aimed at expanding the boundaries of what's possible with Reactive Smart Contracts,” Rong Kai Wong, PARSIQ’s CEO, added. “We are thrilled to invite a global community of developers to innovate and build solutions that could shape the future of decentralized technology.”
