Since it is the season of giving, Polker has announced that it shall be conducting its very first charity drive this month. The team aims to make this a recurring event, however that would also require community assistance for it to happen. With that being said, Polker wants this event to be successful so that those who are less fortunate can have something to look forward to during the holidays.
To that end, Polker has spoken with Ol Pejeta Conservancy and has picked them as the inaugural charity that the project shall be collaborating with. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy contains a pair of one of the rarest animals in the entire world, the Northern White Rhinos. It is also home to a plethora of other species that are in desperate need of conservation. Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-19, the income generated from eco-tourism has stopped. To make matters worse, the area has been hit by a severe drought, and both animals as well as local citizens are suffering as a result.
How is Polker helping?

Why is this important?
Although Polker is primarily a blockchain-based P2E and free to play game which uses Unreal Engine 4, it nonetheless wants to do its part during the holiday season and give back to those who may be less fortunate. Due to the nature of blockchain technology, it would therefore make sense to initiate the aforementioned charity drive as people can make donations extremely easily as well as effectively via the wallet address.
