LBank Labs has proudly announced the triumphant conclusion of its first-ever 'Innovation Camp Hackathon,' held on September 9th and 10th. The event, hosted at the LBank Labs Lounge, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 10 dynamic teams, each eager to showcase their product development and creative concepts under a free-for-all theme.

In collaboration with leading Web3 companies, the hackathon aimed to nurture and support developers, offering a mentoring session to provide valuable insights into Web3 development.

The distinguished judging panel, featuring Andrew Kang (Korea Marketing Director at LBank Labs), Jack (SDK Team Lead at Klaytn), Yong Choi (CTO at Cosmostation), and Klaus (CTO at KSTADIUM), evaluated projects based on criteria such as innovation, functionality, technical complexity, accuracy, and the application of ICP.

Minds, a team comprising students from Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Hanyang University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Soongsil University, claimed the first-place ICP.Hub Korea award. Their project, 'Yours Credits,' introduced a novel point system facilitating NFT trading, blockchain-based digital rewards, and peer-to-peer transactions.

Other notable winners included Korea University's 'Blockchain Valley Social Valley' (LBank Labs Award - Second Place) and Kwangwoon University's 'Debugger Decentblock' (K-Stadium Award - Third Place). Participants hailed from esteemed institutions such as Ewha Womans University, Yonsei University, Inha University, Seoul National University, and Konkuk University.

Reflecting on the success, an official from LBank Labs stated, "The first Innovation Camp in Korea was a tremendous success, contributing significantly to the advancement of the Web3 and blockchain industries." LBank Labs remains committed to fostering innovation and plans to host and participate in future events to expand the Web3 ecosystem.

The Innovation Camp attracted participation from prominent blockchain companies, including ICP.Hub Korea, Klaytn, Sandbox, STAR ATLAS, GemHUB, KSTADIUM, Hancomfront, OpenX, SHRAPNEL, SolveCare, SKYPlay, and more, underscoring the collaborative spirit that defined this groundbreaking event.
