Cardano chatter appears relatively quiet on social media X, with ADA community member Adam Dean pointing out a lack of "Cardano drama" on the timeline, while joking that he was switching to "GTA 6 drama" for the rest of the month.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson engaged with Dean's post, offering a lighthearted reaction and suggesting that the project's online activity has long been closely tied to a token's price.

"It's almost like it has always been connected to a token price," Hoskinson responded. While he didn't mention any token by name, all indications point to ADA, the native cryptocurrency of the Cardano blockchain and its focal point.

The Cardano blockchain also has native tokens defined as custom assets the ledger tracks directly, alongside ADA, without a smart contract for basic transfers.

Hoskinson's response appears to highlight a familiar pattern in the crypto market where discussions surrounding a blockchain project often become significantly louder when its native token is experiencing major price movements.

A relatively small change in the U.S. Treasury bond market contributed to one of the sharpest rallies in months for cryptocurrencies this week, as falling long-term yields offered traders an opportunity to unwind a record pile of pessimistic crypto bets.

At the time of writing, ADA was up 3.04% in the last 24 hours to $0.2194 and up 22.76% weekly. A four-day stretch of price increases had taken ADA to a high of $0.258, where it met resistance and slightly retreated.
