Ripple software engineer Mayukha Vadari hints at incoming XRPL improvements as the protocol prepares for a major software release.

According to the XRPL operations X handle, which provides information about XRP Ledger infrastructure and software updates, the XRP Ledger is anticipating a major software release that includes key changes and its software rebrand.

The tweet made it known that the XRP Ledger version 3.2.0 was coming soon. Also, the core software powering the XRPL will be rebranded from rippled to xrpld. It was noted that the transition might require some updates for infrastructure operators. In this regard, a detailed playbook is being prepared to help guide users through the upgrade process.

Aside from the rebranding of the software version powering the XRP Ledger from rippled to xrpld, Vet, an XRPL validator and also the director of community at the XRP Ledger Foundation, highlighted notable XRPL improvements expected in the upcoming release. "This version has even more bangers btw, like memory footprint reduction," Vet stated.

Ripple software engineer Mayukha Vadari echoed this sentiment, responding with the "100" emoji, saying "lots of good stuff."
