Following a successful van Rossem hard fork, Cardano has turned its focus to the Dijkstra era. According to a recent update shared by Intersect, the initial Dijkstra rollout is planned in three phases, introducing Nested Transactions, Linear Leios, and Peras, respectively.

The first hard fork scope is expected to be frozen by July 31, following presentation to the Technical Steering Committee on July 29. The scope is expected to include CIP-50, with CIP-23 likely to be incorporated into the 2026 roadmap.

The Haskell node team's current objective is to deliver Phase 1 (Nested Transactions) and Phase 2 (Linear Leios) to Mainnet by the end of 2026, providing an incremental rollout of key Dijkstra capabilities.

Constitutional updates required for the Dijkstra era are expected to take place after the hard fork enactment. Their socialization across the community will begin as early as practicable to allow sufficient time for discussion and feedback.
