Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), ranked first for large-order execution in a CryptoRank study examining liquidity, market structure and execution quality across leading tokenized equity products.

According to the research, Bitget's Reality rTokens delivered the lowest simulated slippage across every comparable asset tested, recording up to 58% lower slippage on $50,000 orders than competing tokenized equity products.

The findings highlight the growing importance of execution quality as the tokenized equity market develops and investors increasingly look beyond basic price exposure when evaluating blockchain-based representations of traditional financial assets.

Liquidity becomes key differentiator

The CryptoRank report comes as the tokenized equity market approaches $2 billion in on-chain value, with more than 471,000 on-chain holders.

As tokenized stocks become increasingly available through cryptocurrency exchanges, the study examined how differences in product structures, liquidity models and execution infrastructure affect the trading experience.

CryptoRank compared tokenized equity offerings across major exchanges and found that products tracking the same underlying stocks can vary considerably in areas including investor rights, liquidity mechanisms, redemption structures and execution quality.

The study focused on NVIDIA, Microsoft, Meta and Tesla, which were the only four assets in the comparison to maintain valid two-sided order books across all tested venues.

Within this comparable group, Bitget's Reality rTokens produced the strongest execution results for larger orders.

The report found that Bitget recorded the lowest simulated slippage across all four assets for both $10,000 and $50,000 trades. Reality rTokens also recorded the highest balanced displayed liquidity within 50 basis points.

CryptoRank attributed the results in part to Bitget's liquidity architecture, which combines exchange liquidity with liquidity linked to underlying markets on the NYSE and Nasdaq. The structure is designed to provide deeper liquidity and improve execution efficiency for larger transactions.

The research also examined the legal and operational structures supporting tokenized equities, noting that products using similar stock tickers can represent different forms of investor claims depending on their issuance and settlement models.

Execution quality moves to forefront

The findings suggest that the development of tokenized equities is increasingly shifting from a question of access to one of market infrastructure.

While tokenization can make traditional financial assets available through blockchain-based platforms, the quality of that access depends on factors such as liquidity, spreads, order-book depth and the ability to execute larger transactions without significant price impact.

"Tokenization is moving beyond access and into infrastructure," said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. "If even 10% of global financial assets become tokenized by 2030, we'll witness one of the most significant transformations in modern capital markets."

Chen added that the next stage of tokenization would be defined by execution quality, liquidity and the market infrastructure supporting tokenized assets. She also said independent research could help establish benchmarks for the sector as tokenized markets mature.

Bitget expands its tokenized asset ecosystem

The CryptoRank findings build on Bitget's broader expansion of its Stock+ ecosystem, which provides eligible users with access to more than 500 tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities and other traditional financial assets alongside cryptocurrencies through a unified account.

The platform combines tokenized asset exposure with 24/7 market access and fractional investing, while incorporating liquidity linked to major U.S. equity markets.

Bitget's broader Universal Exchange strategy is built around bringing crypto and traditional financial markets into a single trading environment. The exchange has continued to expand its offering across tokenized equities, stock derivatives and other real-world assets as it seeks to reduce the separation between digital asset markets and traditional finance.

The CryptoRank study adds another dimension to that strategy, suggesting that as tokenized equities gain adoption, competition may increasingly focus not only on the number of assets available but also on the underlying infrastructure that determines how efficiently users can trade them.

For the sector as a whole, the results point to a shift in priorities. As tokenized markets grow, liquidity and execution quality could become increasingly important benchmarks for distinguishing between products that offer similar exposure to the same underlying assets.
