Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has announced a collaboration with Siebly.io, a provider of API SDKs for algorithmic traders and developers, aimed at simplifying access to the exchange's trading infrastructure.

Under the partnership, developers can use the Bitget SDK by Siebly to connect with Bitget's V3 Unified Trading Account and V2 Classic APIs.

The integration is designed to accelerate development and improve connectivity across the exchange's spot trading, futures, copy trading and real-time market data services.

Simplifying API access for developers

As algorithmic trading becomes increasingly widespread across digital asset markets, developers rely on stable and well-documented APIs to build, test and deploy automated trading systems.

However, differences between API architectures, inconsistent client libraries and complicated migration processes can create additional development work and increase operational risks.

The collaboration with Siebly is intended to address some of these challenges by providing developers with ready-made tools for interacting with Bitget's infrastructure.

The SDK supports both the exchange's newer Unified Trading Account architecture and its existing V2 Classic workflows, allowing developers to choose the setup that best fits their applications.

Siebly.io specializes in developer tools that connect trading systems with cryptocurrency exchanges without requiring teams to build individual API integrations from scratch. T

he Bitget SDK is particularly relevant for developers working with JavaScript and TypeScript, potentially reducing the technical effort required to build trading bots, automated strategies and market data applications.

"UEX is about delivering a better trading experience for users and developers worldwide independent of the assets they trade," said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. "Collaborating with Siebly makes it easier to build reliable tools across Bitget's unified account architecture, helping traders spend less time on integration and more time building strategies on Bitget."

Support for spot, futures and copy trading

The SDK provides coverage across several parts of Bitget's trading ecosystem. Developers can access spot and futures trading functionality, copy trading services, public market data streams and private account management.

The integration also includes WebSocket API functionality for latency-sensitive applications. Developers can use persistent connections to execute REST-like request-response patterns, potentially reducing request overhead while avoiding some of the additional complexity associated with implementing WebSocket connectivity independently.

The SDK also supports several authentication standards, including HMAC, RSA and Ed25519. This gives developers flexibility when connecting their applications to Bitget's infrastructure while maintaining established security mechanisms for API access.

According to Siebly, its development tools are designed around consistent patterns that can make it easier for developers to work across multiple supported exchanges. This approach may help trading teams reduce implementation time when expanding their applications to additional platforms.

Bitget's Universal Exchange strategy

The partnership comes as Bitget continues to develop its Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to bring different asset classes and trading products together within a unified ecosystem.

While the UEX concept is primarily focused on expanding access beyond traditional cryptocurrency markets, the underlying infrastructure also depends on reliable connections between exchanges, developers and third-party applications.

By improving access to its APIs across spot, futures, copy trading and market data, Bitget is expanding the infrastructure available to developers building automated trading products and services.

For algorithmic traders, the collaboration could reduce some of the technical barriers associated with connecting trading strategies to Bitget.

For developers, the availability of a dedicated SDK may provide a more standardized starting point for building applications that interact with the exchange's different trading environments.

As automated trading and algorithmic strategies continue to become more prominent across crypto markets, API infrastructure is likely to remain an important part of exchange competition.

Bitget's collaboration with Siebly reflects the growing focus on making trading infrastructure more accessible not only to end users, but also to the developers building the tools and applications that operate on top of it.
