Ripple recently minted 10 million RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, according to a Ripple stablecoin tracker X account, adding to the Ripple USD stablecoin supply on the XRPL blockchain despite a mild activity drop in September so far.
Save for September 1, when $143.1 million RLUSD was minted on the XRP Ledger and $7.2 million RLUSD was burned, other days in September saw significantly less RLUSD activity.
September 10, 2026 for instance, saw $0 RLUSD minted on the XRPL with $1.5 million burned; September 11 saw minting activity resume on the XRPL with a total of $21.9 million RLUSD minted and $387,000 RLUSD burned. $0 RLUSD was also minted on the Ethereum blockchain on September 10, with $15 million burned. On September 11, $528,000 RLUSD was minted on Ethereum, while $4 million was burned. This suggested that the slowdown in activity was not just on XRPL but also on Ethereum.
According to the Ripple stablecoin tracker website, a total of $45.6 million RLUSD was minted in the last seven days on the XRP Ledger, and $22.8 million RLUSD was burned on the blockchain.
The circulating supply of RLUSD remains above $1 billion on the XRP Ledger, currently at $1,053,014,745.

Clearpool, Ripple's on-chain credit partner, is moving its core infrastructure from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger. Together with Cicada Partners, the project is launching an institutional credit fund to finance fintech and payment companies, with settlements and payouts conducted exclusively in RLUSD.
RLUSD, launched in December 2024, is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a Ripple subsidiary, under a limited-purpose trust company charter granted by the NYDFS.
According to Ripple, RLUSD is taking a stricter regulatory path with a trust charter model, recurring independent attestation, segregated reserves, active NYDFS supervision, and a pending federal charter layer.
