High-performance layer-1 blockchain Sonic has announced that it has integrated Kaito AI, a major SocialFi application. Its enthusiasts, known as "yappers," will be eligible for S cryptocurrency airdrops via Kaito's earning mechanisms.
Sonic integrates with Kaito, yappers join S airdrop
Sonic, a new-gen EVM L1 blockchain, announces the integration with Kaito, a SocialFi app. Kaito users, for their activity related to Sonic, will be eligible for S airdrop rewards.
Set to go live on June 27, the Kaito integration of the S token airdrop is the first program of its kind for the Sonic ecosystem. It enables users to earn rewards not just for DeFi activity but for spreading the word about Sonic in the form of valuable insights, research and other quality content that can be tracked on their dedicated Yapper Leaderboard.
Yapper Leaderboards provide a quantifiable way for projects to measure community contributions and to reward participants.
Michael Kong, CEO of Sonic Labs, welcomes all newcomers to "yap" for Sonic and claim S rewards for their activity:
With Kaito Yaps, we’re giving real weight to the people pushing Sonic forward on social media through insights, research, and quality content that drives awareness. If you’re shaping the narrative, it’s only fair that you should share in the upside.
Users who contribute “mindshare” that elevates the discussion about Sonic and adds valuable educational content will earn Yap points. In the process, they will qualify for a share of the forthcoming S airdrop.
Strenthening Sonic community in DeFi
Yu Hu, founder and CEO of Kaito, is expecting the inflow of new customers focused on exploring Sonic EVM and its opportunities:
We’re excited to have Sonic integrating with Kaito to create their own Yapper Leaderboard. It’s a clear signal of the value they place on community and recognition of the people driving their vision forward. They join other well-established web3 projects in rewarding their top social contributors in a way that wasn't previously possible.
Sonic’s Yapper Leaderboard will enable the EVM network to recognize and reward top community members across X. Users will be ranked by their mindshare contributions using Kaito's industry-leading algorithm for social graph mapping. The addition of S rewards to Kaito Earn will provide further exposure and maximize both the quality and diversity of socially shared content.
The Kaito integration will allocate S tokens to users who create high-quality content about Sonic, encouraging the community to spread the word about the high-throughput L1 and its benefits, such as fee monetization, ultra-fast transactions, and a flourishing DeFi ecosystem. Community content is an integral part of helping to grow the Sonic ecosystem through helping new users to learn more about its core features.
