As seen on Adidas' official handle, Italian luxury fashion house Prada and sportswear giant Adidas are building their first collaborative NFT project on Polygon blockchain. Adidas, which had earlier ventured into the Metaverse, has now teamed up with Prada to launch a user-generated NFT art project, dubbed Adidas for Prada Re-Source. Polygon notes that this is a significant milestone to keep eyes on.

The NFT project seeks to use the recent Re-Nylon collection through crypto to co-create a large-scale digital artwork piece. Fans of both brands would be able to submit their photos to the Polygon network, with 3,000 pieces set to be minted individually as NFTs. After that, digital artist Zach Lieberman will combine and recreate the chosen photographs as tiles to create one gigantic NFT.
The two international brands recently announced their third collaboration—the Adidas for Prada Re-Nylon collection—into the Metaverse.
Polygon expands NFT market coverage
U.Today earlier reported Polygon teasing a big announcement for the Indian gaming community. IndiGG, a collaboration of Yield Guild Games, a play-to-earn guild that brings players together to earn via NFT games and Polygon Studios, the gaming and NFT arm of Polygon recently raised $6 million to boost play-to-earn gaming in India.
This is quite significant as India remains home to the largest gaming talent pool, with more than 400 million gamers in the over $1.8 billion gaming market.
