MEXC has announced the launch of MEXC 0808: Stock Season, introducing what the exchange says will become an annual event celebrating its "0 Fees and Infinite Opportunities" strategy.
Early registration is now open ahead of the campaign's official start on Aug. 8, with participants competing for a share of a $500,000 reward pool.
According to the exchange, the new initiative is intended to establish Aug. 8 as a recurring milestone highlighting MEXC's zero-fee trading model and expanding range of investment products.
The company says its fee policy extends beyond promotional campaigns and forms part of its broader effort to lower trading costs across multiple markets. MEXC estimates that during 2025, its zero-fee program helped approximately 3.44 million users avoid more than 1.1 billion USDT in trading fees.
Stock trading takes center stage
The inaugural edition of the campaign focuses on equities, reflecting growing interest in stock trading through crypto platforms.
MEXC cited a recent report showing that monthly trading volume for U.S. equities across six major centralized crypto exchanges surged 337.4% in June 2026 to $189.84 billion. The study found that U.S. stocks represented 48.3% of total traditional finance trading volume on those exchanges, making equities the largest TradFi asset class traded through crypto platforms during the month.

Expanding stock-related products
In recent months, MEXC has significantly broadened its offering beyond cryptocurrencies.
Its current lineup includes RealStocks, providing access to more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, alongside more than 200 stock and index futures, over 200 tokenized U.S. equities, and Pre-IPO Launchpad investment opportunities.
The exchange says these products allow users to access traditional shares, derivatives, tokenized securities and pre-public offerings from a single account.
MEXC also reported that trading volume in its stock and index futures segment increased by roughly 261% month over month in June, reflecting growing demand among crypto traders seeking exposure to traditional financial markets.
Rewards up to $3,888
To mark the launch of Stock Season, MEXC will temporarily waive trading fees across Stock Futures, Tokenized Stocks and RealStocks during the promotion.
The early registration period runs from Aug. 5 at 08:08 UTC through Aug. 8 at 08:07 UTC. During that time, users can earn up to three raffle tickets by inviting new participants who register or make their first deposit.
The main campaign begins on Aug. 8 at 08:08 UTC and continues through Aug. 28. Participants will be able to complete a series of activities, including trading stock-related products, sharing the campaign and referring additional users, to collect more raffle entries.
Rewards include prizes of up to $3,888, stock futures positions worth $88, annual percentage rate boosters reaching 888%, and other promotional incentives.
