Today, July 3, 2025, Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, exceeded $110,000 for the first time in weeks despite a plunging market. At the same time, memetic cryptos are in the spotlight for traders and investors: large-caps outperform all competitors, while WIF is getting closer to the top 100.

Meme cryptos on fire today, BONK price jumps by 15%

In the last 24 hours, despite the massive activity of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) whales, the aggregated capitalization of cryptocurrency markets plunged. The total crypto cap lost 0.7% and dipped below $3.46 trillion. Meanwhile, meme cryptocurrencies are rocketing today.

Bonk (BONK), a large community-driven meme coin, is outperforming all cryptocurrencies in the top 100. After an excellent 15% overnight rally, the BONK price touched $0.00001653. The market capitalization of BONK targets $1.3 billion for the first time in many months.

Pepe (PEPE), another popular meme cryptocurrency and first-ever frog coin, saw its price add 5% overnight. The PEPE price jumped to $0.00001025.

Meme coin majors are also in green today. Dogecoin (DOGE), the first and largest meme cryptocurrency, spiked to $0.1726 in an overnight move. The Shiba Inu (SHIB) price added 2% and hit $0.00001188 on surging trading volume, CoinGecko data shows.

Dogwifhat (WIF) ready for comeback?

In the segment of smaller meme coins, some popular assets are also rocketing. Dogwifhat (WIF), the first mainstream meme coin on Solana (SOL), is up by 7.7%. The WIF price exceeded $0.0920. Dogwifhat (WIF) is now the 104th asset by market cap.

Based Brett (BRETT) and Mog Coin (MOG) both added 8%, while Floki (FLOKI) is up by 3.4%. Many other smaller cryptos are posting decent gains.

At the same time, Bitcoiin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are taking a breath before the next legs of their rallies. Both of the biggest cryptos are only up by 1-2%.
