With the upcoming Beyond upgrade, Dymension (DYM), a blockchain with one of the most generous airdrops in crypto history, is preparing for Season 2 of its community activities. Season 2 is designed to reintroduce the Dymension protocol and accelerate its growth as it evolves into a Universal Settlement Layer.
Dymension (DYM) Season 2 kicks off: What to know
According to the official statement by its team, Dymension (DYM), a multi-purpose blockchain protocol for decentralized applications and a go-to settlement layer for businesses, has initiated Season 2 of its rewards program for users.
For all Season 2 rewards activities, registration will be available in waves. Each wave is reserved for a different set of eligible addresses. To participate, a wallet address must be registered.
The first registration opportunity of Season 2 is dedicated to Dymond Hands, the core DYM community members who staked without unstaking (Minimum 17 DYM staked continuously since June 2024).
Details on future waves, participant groups, potential bonuses and others will be revealed throughout Season 2.
Season 2 is an ongoing experience that compensates longtime DYM believers, active users, builders and potential new users.
Over the course of Season 2, past and current on-chain activity will be measured and rewarded with DYMONDs that can be exchanged for DYM. To ensure a fair start for all Dymond Hands, DYMONDs will be earned for on-chain activity only after Wave 1 registration is complete.
Users will earn DYMONDs for on-chain action such as IRO trading, USDC tokens being deposited to Dymension (one-click from Solana, Arbitrum and Base), bridged liquidity, new positions on Dymension's DEX, TVL deposited to newly-created RollApps and more.
Biggest rewards for active RollApps
The most efficient way to accumulate DYMONDs is to create a Dymension-based RollApp and attract TVL In addition to Dymonds earned through builders' on-chain activity, the Dymension Foundation will begin allocating its staked DYM to fund builders — using endorsements, with up to an equivalent of $10,000 per month in rewards.
Both early-stage teams or already live RollApp operators will be able to submit app ideas to receive on-chain support via protocol-level endorsements.
In addition, a referral program is set to allow activists to earn a bonus of 10% of all DYMONDs earned by every user of their referral links.
