According to Complex, Young Dirty (Barson Jones), the son of a famed Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard, has officially launched a new cryptocurrency “to make his dad proud.” The Dirty Coin (ODB) was revealed back in March when Jones told Yahoo! Finance about his plans to hold a fan-oriented initial coin offering (ICO) in order to fund his album rollout and future music projects.

From now on, the coin, which is dubbed the first “initial artist offering,” is officially available on the AltMarket P2P trading platform. Jones is highly optimistic about his new cryptocurrency project that is meant to honor his father’s legacy — it’s been almost 14 years since Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s death. He also claims that it is a great way to establish a bond with his fans. Their next project is reportedly already in the offing.
