Wanchain and Evernym have announced their collaboration just recently intending to use each other’s developments for mutual benefit and ecosystem expansion. The companies intend to provide each other with support in expanding their influence globally and enlarging their communities, especially in two locations – Asia and South America.

Details of the partnership

The leaders of the two companies first met in the summer last year in Wanchain headquarters in Austin at a workshop. They were satisfied at a trial collaboration and decided to continue cooperating on a larger scale later on.

Evernym wants to utilize Wanchain’s architecture. Wanchain, in its turn, intends to use the Sovrin Protocol developed by Evernym for in its software solutions for virtual asset holders and use the Braintrust technology made by Evernym too. It would enable all crypto hodlers on the Wanchain network get a self-sovereign identity (SSI) by means of decentralized identifiers.

The companies have more or less precisely formulated their goals for the collaboration. Among them is the creation of a state-of-the-art crypto wallet, which would allow holding crypto and managing users’ identification data. Both companies also will together cooperate on the Hyperldeger Indy project.
