Just one day after the launch of Venezuela’s Petro token, Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro announced a new digital asset, Petro Gold, that will be back by precious metals. Maduro said Petro Gold will be backed by gold “which is even more powerful” and that the new token will launch next week.
