Wirex and Epayments may offer a means for diehard football fans to use cryptocurrencies to pay for 2018 FIFA tickets.
With the last phase of online ticket sales opening, today football fans have been flocking to websites to purchase tickets and accommodations for the FIFA 2018 World Cup tickets. So far more than 1.7 million tickets have been sold.
Both Wirex and Epayments offer services through prepaid cards issued by international payment providers like VISA and Mastercard and can be used on FIFA’s website and anywhere else in the world.
Wirex announced it would start re-issuing plastic cards in Europe in the next four weeks after a brief halt on crypto friendly prepaid Visa cards in Europe.
Epayments, offers a prepaid Mastercard that can be filled with Bitcoins, Bitcoin cash (BCH), Litecoin and Ethereum. No service fees will be charged to customers who spend more than 300 euros a month, the company says.

Buying Business Travel Russia, reported that Apartments Malina has teamed up with the online payment system, Free-Kassa, to allow users to purchase rooms with cryptocurrencies. A total of four matches will take place in Kaliningrad on Jun. 16, 22, 25 and 28.
