UAE Exchange — an Abu Dhabi remittance company — has partnered with distributed ledger startup Ripple. UAE hopes to get a competitive advantage in the market by reducing the cost and increasing the speed of cross-border transactions. However, Ripple’s XRP coin is not part of the agreement and will not be used by UAE Exchange.
