In his tweet a few minutes ago, Tron’s co-founder Justin Sun informed the community that the scheduled upgrade of the Tron mainnet has been completed. Now that the beta-testing of the Tron Virtual Machine is over, new mainnet TRX coins can now be again traded, deposited and withdrawn on Saturday 10 a.m. (SGT).

Since the launch of the Tron mainnet on June 25 after the end of the testing period, the hyped network also released the beta version Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) almost a week later. The election of Super Representatives (SR) was happening at the same time. New TRX coins have been gradually exchanged as part of the token migration set up by the Tron Foundation.
By Aug. 30, Tron completed the testing of the TVM, all 27 SRs were also elected, so the mainnet required an update. Now the TVM is fully operational and trialed from all sides. It is reported to be ready for developers to start making dApps.
