BitTorrent tokens (BTT) are given to Tron (TRX) holders on a monthly basis. The airdrops have been taking place since February, slightly after BitTorrent conducted a token sale on Binance, which was over in just about ten minutes.

Regular BTT airdrops

During the first airdrop, the ratio of BTT given away was 0.11 BTT for one TRX. This was due to an uncertain situation with rewards miners were getting for one mined Tron block and the coin burn. When another airdrop took place in March (it happens every 11 day of each month), the ratio changed to 0.01 BTT for holding one TRX for the same reasons.

The BTT ratio changes for each new airdrop, Justin Sun notifies.

The upcoming BTT giveaway is to occur on August 11, 00:00 UTC.

Tron community’s response

In the comment thread, the community showed a differently directed reaction. Some keep asking when the lunch with Warren Buffett will finally take place. Others accuse Justin Sun of being a scammer. Some insist that he must restore his broken reputation within the community.
