A year ago, at the end of June 2018, the Tron blockchain became independent from Ethereum, getting off of it and on to its own blockchain and launching a token migration from ERC20.

Misha Lederman, one of the strongest Tron supporters, is summarizing all the new milestones that the Tron Foundation and Justin Sun have achieved since then.

Tron’s achievements within a year off of Ethereum

Among the numerous milestones taken by Tron within the first year of independence from Ethereum, Misha Lederman mentioned the acquisition of BitTorrent, launching BTT, the partnership with Binance, charity work with Binance Charity Foundation, hitting 3 mln accounts, 300,000 weekly users, etc.

Besides, Tron has launched two stablecoins – Tether and TRXD, backed by USD by Carbon.

Apart from that, Tron has launched Sun Network, which is expected to give Tron unlimited scaling opportunities.

The most recent thing that Justin Sun did and which got into the headlines of all mainstream media was his upcoming lunch with the legendary investor and billionaire Warren Buffett, which Sun won on a charity auction for slightly over $4.5 mln.

In honour of its Independence Day, today, on June 24, Justin Sun promises to launch a live stream at 19:00 PDT.
