There has been a major change inside the crypto top 10 with Tether (USDT) replacing Cardano (ADA) at eighth place. That comes just a week ago after Tether issued a whopping number of new tokens (about $50 mln in total) on Bitfinex, provoking an anticipated bullish uptick on the market.

The USDT token’s market cap is currently sitting at $2.73 bln, which just goes to show a sharp decline of the industry in 2018— you wouldn’t see cryptocurrencies hitting the top 10 with a market cap less than $10 mln earlier this year.
