Telegram Files With SEC to Offer Securities for Blockchain Project

Telegram’s founders, the Durov brothers, have filed the necessary papers with the SEC to offer securities for “the development of the TON Blockchain, the development and maintenance of Telegram Messenger.” According to the documents, the brothers have already raised over $800 mln from more than 80 investors. The SEC filing paves the way for accredited US investors (those with over $1 mln in assets) to purchase the securities.
