Taiwanese ‘Crypto Congressman’ Praises IOTA for Focusing on Real-World Adoption
Taiwanese legislator Jason Hsu has recently shared words of praise for IOTA. He claims that this is a salient example of a project that is actively building use cases.
Focusing on real-life use cases
The future of crypto remains a polarizing issue, but IOTA, one of the leading Blockchain 3.0 projects, got some praise from Hsu. As mentioned above, he claims that the DLT community is focused on streamlining the real-life adoption of the coin. On Dec. 21, IOTA scoring a major use case by teaming up with one of the emerging leaders in VR gaming.
Jason Hsu is widely known as ‘Crypto Congressman’ because of his penchant for cryptocurrencies (that nickname was given to him by no other but Vitalik Buterin). The former tech entrepreneur is focusing on making crypto-friendly legislations to make sure that the technology is not outpacing regulatory policies. As U.Today reported earlier, Hsu wants startups to offer ready-made products with applicable use cases, which explains his praise for IOTA.
As of now, Taiwan is planning to set up a special economic zone powered by the Blockchain technology.

While prepping for Davos, Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman mentioned that cryptocurrencies could become the future global currency, calling 2019 the year of disruptions in the tech space. At the same time, senior UK banker had some harsh words for crypto, claiming that it fails ‘fundamental tests.’
