Square CEO Jack Dorsey Bullish on Bitcoin, Plans to Expand Crypto’s Role in Square Cash App

Square CEO Jack Dorsey said on an investor call earlier this week that “Bitcoin, for us, is not stopping at buying and selling.” He continued, saying that Bitcoin “is a transformational technology for our industry” and that “we want to learn as quickly as possible.” Square’s CEO mentioned that one area where they hold a significant competitive advantage is their Square Cash app, which allows people to buy and sell Bitcoin, and that they would be increasing their investments in the app. Dorsey is also the CEO of Twitter, so he has a great deal of influence in tech circles.
