Russian IPChain To Introduce Blockchain In Uzbekistan

Russian IPChain Association and the Innovation Department of Tashkent signed a memorandum to integrate Blockchain for use in copyright.

"Our partnership [...] will likely give an impetus to the development of intellectual property area in Uzbekistan. Scientists, inventors and creators do not usually understand how to monetize their intellectual property. From now on they are going to know that the copyright actually works and is profitable. As a capital, we have to help authors and to show them ways to earn money," said Jasur Zahidov, the head of the Innovation Department of Tashkent.

Andrey Krichevsky, the president of IPChain Association, said that the patent office of Uzbekistan plans to introduce IPChain as a standard.
