During a recent interview, Roger Ver, also known as “Bitcoin Jesus”, weighed in on the current state of Bitcoin adoption, saying that it stalls because of internal infighting. He points to the fact that the world’s biggest currency is experiencing “reverse adoption”, which means that actually fewer merchants are using it now after finding different alternatives due to scaling issues and high fees.
Ver also addressed censorship problems that are prevalent in the Bitcoin crowd. He claims that those who argue in favor of increasing the currency’s block size simply do not have a say in large Bitcoin communities.
In August, U.Today reported that Ver is a huge proponent of Bitcoin Cash. He doubled down on his stance in the recent interview.
