According to a new Coinbase survey, which covered the opinions of 675 US students, Blockchain and cryptocurrencies start picking up steam in US colleges. It turns out that about 25 percent of the poll participants wouldn’t mind taking a course in Blockchain while more than 40 percent of world’s leading universities give them such an opportunity.
Notably, Blockchain has already extended beyond the IT department, penetrating such fields like finance and social sciences. It clearly shows that the distributed ledger technology can be utilized in various areas.
The aforementioned survey also shows that 18 percent of US students have crypto investments, which makes them the most crypto-friendly demo.
