A Norwegian mining company with branches in three cities had to address the police due to threats it received from the locals. The conflicts were caused by the noise the mining farms are making. The management insists that the staff leave their offices should they see any signs of danger.

The reaction on social media was different– from indignation to people seeing the situation as ridiculous, some responded to the situation humorously, taking the whole thing as a joke.
